Why Cannabis Storage Is a Serious Safety Issue for Dog Owners

Veterinary poison helplines are handling a growing number of calls involving dogs that have accidentally ingested cannabis, a trend that looks set to continue as access to the substance broadens. The risk has nothing to do with judging adult choices, and everything to do with how naturally inquisitive dogs are around anything left within reach. Keeping any cannabis products locked away and genuinely out of a pet's reach is now considered an essential part of responsible dog ownership.
